Recording Status

This input Action changes the recording status of OBS Studio. The Recording button in OBS Studio will be updated accordingly.

The Status output Field controls what the recording status will be set to. The recording status will not be updated if it is already set to the Status output Field value (e.g. the recording will not start if the Status output Field is set to OFF).

This function behaves exactly like if you had pressed the Recording button within OBS Studio. This means if your recording configuration has errors, it will still have errors when using this plugin.

Pause Status

This input Action changes the recording paused status of OBS Studio. The Recording button in OBS Studio will be updated accordingly.

The Status output Field controls what the paused status will be set to. The paused status will not be updated if it is already set to the Status output Field value (e.g. the recording will not resume if the Status output Field is set to OFF).

This output Action occurs when the recording status of OBS Studio changes.

The Status input Field controls what recording status the output Action will listen for. For example, if the Status input Field is set to OFF, the output Action will only listen to Recording Stop events.

In older versions of this plugin, there were output Actions for other aspects of the recording status. These output Actions are no longer supported, and now generate None output Actions.

This output Action occurs when the recording paused status of OBS Studio changes.

The Status input Field controls what paused status the output Action will listen for. For example, if the Status input Field is set to OFF, the output Action will only listen to Resume Recording events.
